After the server maintenance window earlier this morning users were reporting their Madden NFL 23 online franchises were not working. The team announced they are aware of the issue and have been investigating since early this afternoon.
For the most part users are seeing the following error when trying to load their online franchise.
Our servers cannot process your request at this time. Please try again later. We apologize for any inconvenience. You have been returned to the Main Menu.
We’ll update this article when the team provides additional details.
UPDATE #4: (12:29) After another maintenance update seemed to have fixed the connection issues with online Franchise leagues yesterday, it was just temporary. After numerous complaints the team is again looking into the issue and will provide an update when they can.
UPDATE #3: (12-15) Server maintenance has been completed and users should be able to continue their online Franchises. It would be great to have a “Live” button on the main page of Madden or on their website to show whether or not servers are online. Many users aren’t looking on social media for the only way to find out.
UPDATE #2: (12-14) The Madden team is scheduling server maintenance tomorrow, December 15 to hopefully resolve the online Franchise Mode issues. Maintenance begins at 6:00 AM ET.
UPDATE: It’s going to take another server maintenance window to get it fixed. The team is working on getting a date and time together.
Update
We’ve narrowed down the issue impacting some Cloud Franchise leagues being unavailable.
In order to address the issue, it will require server maintenance.
We’re currently working on the timing of the server maintenance with our teams and will thread an update below.
